A key member of the Long Haul Fleet, the Owner Operator is instrumental in ensuring the integrity of the product being transported and meeting customer appointments. Reporting directly to the Personnel Department, the Professional Driver will be focused on meeting all operational and administrative targets set for the position.Core duties:

• Long Haul into the USA through to Ontario or Quebec and back East (10-14 day run)
• Comply with company procedures/policies and regulatory requirements
• Responsible for the on time submission and accuracy of documentation
• Follow the direction of dispatch team
• Operate and utilize onboard satellite system and communication device
• Adhere to maintenance schedule for equipment
• Monitor refrigeration unit and product
• Participate in US DOT random drug testing program

Qualifications 

• Previous experience in a refrigerated long haul environment is considered an asset
• Class 1
• Clean Abstract and Criminal Search
• Passport or FAST card
