Paul, a graduate of Saint Mary’s University (1976) and Chartered Accountant (1982), began working with Eassons in 1984 as controller, 1986 General manager. Participating in Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association (APTA) and Canadian Trucking Alliance (CTA) where he has held all executive positions and Chairman of CTA for 2010 and 2011.
He resides in Aylesford, NS. with his wife Cindy and has three children Brian , Rodney and Gina. Paul enjoys several outdoor sports.

Peter P. Easson
VP Sales
BBA Acadia University
Peter graduated from Acadia University in 1984 with a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration), major in marketing. He returned to the family business in 1987 after spending 3 years in sales working with one of Canada’s top 10 carriers. Peter handles the sales functions at Eassons Transport, overseeing corporate sales and ETL Logistics (Brokerage Division). Peter is a member of the Eassons Transport Management Team, a member of the Eassons Transport Board of Directors, and a shareholder of Eassons Transport with his brothers Paul & Tom Easson.
Peter, his wife Heather and their two sons Ben and Jeff, reside in Wolfville, NS. Their leisure time is spent at their cottage on Lake Torment in East Dalhousie, NS. They enjoy family activities including boating, ATVing and snowmobiling. Peter also maintains his private pilots license.

Tom Easson
VP Equipment
Tom, a graduate of the Nova Scotia Community College Electrical Construction Wiring Program (1976), began working with Eassons in 1976 as a mechanic and achieved his Truck and Transport Mechanic designation in 1984. He currently manages both the tractor and trailer maintenance facilities.
He resides in Berwick, NS with his wife Marsha and has two children William and Leanne. Tom enjoys working in his shop where he repairs and rebuilds anything with a motor.

Controller

Brian began his work experience in the transportation industry working summers at Eassons Transport between semesters at Acadia University. From 2002 to 2006 he gained experience in warehouse, dispatch, and administration functions while at Eassons and obtained a bachelors’ degree in business administration from Acadia.
Upon graduation in 2006, Brian took a position with KPMG LLP in Calgary, AB and at the same time was accepted into the Western Canada Chartered Accountant School of Business. He gained auditing, tax, and performance measurement experience working with clients of KPMG and progressing through the CA program passing the final CA examinations in late 2008. Brian continued working for KPMG through to 2010 as a Senior Accountant including team/project management, client advisory, and international work experience.
Brian returned to Eassons in 2010 as Controller and focusing on updating IT hardware and software systems, improvements in internal reporting, and efficiencies in administrative functions.
A resident of Berwick, Brian is married and enjoys outdoor activities and team sports. He is also actively involved in the community volunteering as Treasurer of the Berwick and District Community Association.

Operations Manager
Jerry has 26 years experience in the Transportation Industry and is a member of the Eassons Transport Management Team.
Jerry joined the company in 1988 in St. John’s NF as Terminal Manager/Dispatcher, moving to Ontario in 1999 to establish Eassons Transport’s presence in Ontario. Jerry currently manages all operational functions of Eassons Transport and is based at Eassons Transport’s Mississauga ON terminal. Jerry has made the company, his employees, and it’s customers satisfaction a priority. Jerry developed an excellent customer relationship and is well respected in the Transportation industry
Prior to working for Eassons Transport, Jerry was a Terminal Manager, Dispatcher and Owner Operator for a combined 10 years for McNeil's Transport from 1988 to 1998.
Jerry worked with his family in the Farming and Fishing Industry while completing school. His success and drive comes from a solid family background. Jerry and his wife Julie are dedicated parents of their son Jonathan. When Jerry is not at work or working around his 10 acre hobby farm north of Toronto he continues his leadership by coaching his son's soccer team and being an active part of the community. In their leisure time the Murphy Family enjoy camping, fishing, boating and horse back riding.

Trevor Bent
Human Resource & Risk Manager
BA, Acadia University, NS; Geomatics Engineering Diploma, NSCC
Trevor, a graduate from Acadia University, began working in the field of Safety in 1996 while working in residential construction. He continued to gain training and experience by joining Terratech Consultants as a Safety Coordinator in 1999 and joining J.D. Irving Limited, Sawmill/Woodland Divisions, as Safety Manager in 2000. In 2007 Trevor assumed the role of Human Resource & Safety Manager with J.D. Irving, where it was his role to successfully recruit, retain and develop the workforce.
Trevor joined Eassons Transport in 2009 as Human Resource & Risk Manager and has led the development of a formal driver performance management system and has introduced best practices in the areas of driver/staff recruitment and retention, training, development and performance management.
Trevor currently sits on the Zurich Best Practices Group, the THRSC Board, Standards Committee and Tobacco Cessation Committee. He resides in Kentville, NS, with his wife and two children.
